This is a poster that I designed in dedication to the jazz musician John Coltrane. I really enjoyed how the background turned out.

This is a self portrait that I worked on when I got bored of working on my real design homework. I based it off of a picture that my brother took of me in Vegas. I thought that it turned out pretty well.

Alphabet Concept

I recently came up with a concept that I have kind of grabbed onto. I am working to create a unique design page for each letter of the alphabet. Along with each of these pages I am including a quote about design. I am hoping that this will be a good project toward my portfolio. It’s coming along and I have a few letters done and I am including those here.

Creativity involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look at things in a different way.

Harmony:
Design is the intentional and altruistic act of sythnesizing a harmonious response to a context.
